It was known as Cootamundra Domestic Training Home for Girls.
A home for young girls of the stolen generation. This is where my mum grew up.
The six turtles are a representation of my 4 sisters, my brother & myself.
This painting represents my connection to my family, as well as highlighting awareness around a sensitive issue and a story that needs to be told.
