Survival Day Stickers
Survival Day Stickers. Two designs to choose from
1. Always Was Always Will Be
2. January 26th Change The Date
Always Was Always Will Be Aboriginal Land: is a statement used politically regarding Australian Lands. Aboriginal people of Australia use the statement as a reminder that Australian Lands always was always will be Aboriginal land regardless of any changes made to country. The statement is widely used throughout the country by Aboriginal people.
January 26th marks the date of the first fleet landing in Sydney Cove. Captain Arthur Phillip raised the Union Flag and claimed the sovereign lands of Australia for the King of England. For Aboriginal people it marks the beginning of genocide. The beginning of mass murders, mass land grabs and complete abolishment of Aboriginal Tribes. It is not a day of Celebration for some Aboriginal people and respectfully request to #changethedate.
